What is the product lead time when ordering a Schwung piece? 

Schwung products have a lead time of between four and six weeks. As a made-to-order design studio, Schwung does not keep any ready-to-ship products in stock. All orders are made with care by artisans in Europe. This also helps reduce waste, as production is limited to demand.        

How do I clean and care for Schwung’s quality lighting fixtures?    

While all brass elements of Schwung lighting are lacquered for protection, they may tarnish slightly over time. This is a natural process of the material. It is important to follow the brand product care guidance to ensure the longevity of your Schwung pieces. 

Here is some general guidance on how to keep your lighting fixtures in top shape.

1. Brass Frame: Regularly use a soft cloth or duster to clean the brass frame. A damp cloth can be used if needed, but ensure the frame is completely dry before turning it back on. Avoid using any cleaning agents on the brass. 

2. Glass Elements: Clean the outer surface of the globes with a soft, dry cloth. For heavier dirt, start with a damp cloth, and for grease, gently use a glass cleaner. Spot-test cleaning agents to ensure they are compatible with and don’t harm your product.
